Broadford 40 defeated Yea 14

THE team left the fog of Yea and headed to sunshine in Broadford for their sixth-round clash against the Roos.

They continued to manage injury and illness with only seven original team players able to take the court.

Ivy and Kensi from the Tigers’ 13 and under team stepped up to join and showed both their love and enthusiasm for the sport and their club.

Despite playing with an irregular team the Tigers went in with a positive mindset and a “never give up attitude”.

Yea 3.4 – 22 defeated by Moama 28.13 – 181

LAST Sunday, the Yea Tigers’ under 16s travelled to Kialla to play Moama.

With a few winter bugs around, they only had a crew of 15.

Moama with a team of 22 were hungry for points and not willing to share any players until half time.
