VicForests to be felled on June 30

IN the Supreme Court on Wednesday, March 13, lawyers for VicForests announced that VicForests would be wound up by June 30. It was a surprising way for the information to become public.

The Victorian Government was asked what options are being offered to staff, what proportion of staff are expected to transfer to DEECA, the reason behind the decision and the timeline, and which VicForests functions will be transferred to DEECA (or other agencies).
