Alexandra 0.1 – 1 was defeated by Belgrave 12.16 – 88

ALEXANDRA travelled to Belgrave last Saturday for round 15 of the Outer East League 2024 Division one season, the Reserves were undermanned with two on the bench, faced top of the table Magpies who showed their class with four unanswered goals in the first quarter.

Seniors

Alexandra 10.10 – 70 was defeated by Belgrave 11.11 – 77

THE Seniors were again missing a number of players and also included Joe Calovic for his first senior game after playing the earlier game in the reserves, the rain still continuing to impact the day.

Both teams were desperate for a win to keep the finals run alive, each kicking four goals in the first quarter in a real slog, both teams kicking two goals in the second quarter.
