KELLOCK Lodge has announced the appointment of a new CEO. Robert Jarman will start in the role on September 19, replacing Linda Dover.

For the past 20 years, Mr Jarman has been the CEO of Kerang District Health, including Glenarm Nursing Home, a 30 bed residential facility.

A highlight of Mr Jarman’s career was the $36 million redevelopment of the facility between 2012 and 2016.

In 2022, Kerang District Health was judged as the most outstanding hospital by patients, according to the Australian Patients Association. The award was presented for patient feedback and experience recorded by Kerang District Health’s online Care Opinion feedback system.

He was CEO of the organisation at the time of the Kerang train disaster, an incident in which a semi-trailer and train collided. Ten people were killed and up to 50 injured, 12 seriously. The facility provided care for up to half of the people injured in the incident.

In a Kerang District Health Facebook post wishing Mr Jarman farewell, it said, “Robert has overseen great change and development at Kerang District Health during his 20 years as CEO. His role has been key in delivering effective and efficient acute healthcare and aged care services to the Kerang and district community.”

Please extend a warm welcome if you see him in the area.
