LAST Friday, June 7 saw the opening of ‘The Dame’, a new shop initiative from Menzies Support Services in partnership with Foundation Murrindindi.

‘The Dame’ can be found at 88A Grant Street, Alexandra, and sells vintage, retro, new and recycled boutique clothing for children, teenagers and adults.

A number of people turned out for the launch, including Murrindindi Shire Mayor, Damien Gallagher, Councillor McAulay, and shire CEO Livia Bonazzi.

Andrew Langley opened ‘The Dame’ with a speech, in which he thanked everyone for coming to the opening, stated that one third of all sales go to Foundation Murrindindi, and briefly talked about how Menzies had received a $5000 grant to open ‘The Dame’.

The program will support NDIS, return to work placements and trainees through partnerships, providing an opportunity for people to engage with…
