FROM March 3 to 5, grade six student Clay Hilder represented St Mary’s Primary School at the Boost Mobile Australian MTB Interschools at Thredbo.

It was an action-packed few days of riding, racing and good times with school students from far and wide.

Riders compete in four events over the three days, these included Maxxis All Mountain, Fox Flow, Deity Pump Track, and the Rockshox Downhill.

Clay’s best result came in the first race placing 21st out of 126 in his division.

In his secon race the Fox Flow Clay came in 55th, then with no previous experience racing pump track Clay managed a 60th place, and in the final race the Rockshox Downhill on Thredbo’s black trail called Cannonball Clay’s courage brought him another great result of 37th.

Completing all four…
