YEA Tigers had their second outing against the league giants, Wandong.
The scoreline tells the story, but not the one you think.
Yes, Wandong’s band of talented young players won easily but looking back to round one, Wandong kicked 17 goals to Yea’s triple doughnut scoreline. The game reflected the hard work and improvement across the board by Yea.
Yea battled very hard from the start and applied pressure all over the ground to hold Wandong to four opening quarter goals.
Although Yea did not score, they were clearly rattling their more powerful opponents. What Yea lacked in height and finesse they made up with determination and fitness.
