President comes up trumps

YEA Golf Club members competed for the March Monthly Medal on Saturday, March 23 with Club President Gary Pollard (14) eclipsing the field with an amazing 61 nett to take the honours.

Neil Peterson (15) had a great round also, posting 68 nett but had to settle for second place. Martin Lowe (20) nett 69 filled third place with a fine round. Gary Pollard displayed the value of good putting with just 21 putts to take out the putting award. All the putting practice during the week on the annual trip away to Albury proved very beneficial.

Nearest the pin winner on the 18th was Tom White. While Rob ‘Lotto’ O’Halloran took home the club award. …
